Adolescent and Adult Residential Services

Residential treatment for men and women are separately housed residential programs for adults who meet admission criteria and whose behavior and physical health can be safely managed in the treatment environment.

Assessment for admission is provided by appointment at any outpatient clinic or during a client’s stay in detoxification services. The residential program intervenes in the client's cycle of chemical dependency, promotes the client's acceptance of the problem and need for treatment, begins development of recovery skills, and prepares the client for the next level of care that will best sustain his or her recovery. Recreation services, the Challenge Ropes Course for building self-confidence and social skills, and 24-hour nursing services for minor health problems and monitoring of health regimens and medication are provided. The average length of stay is 90 days, with actual length determined by the completion of discharge criteria in the client's individualized treatment plan.
