Stewart-Marchman
Foundation was incorporated in 1997 as a tax-exempt charitable organization.
A 36-member board of directors, composed of area residents, governs
its activities. Stewart-Marchman Center employees, primarily the
President and Assistant to the President, provide staff support
to the Foundation Board.
MISSION
OF STEWART-MARCHMAN FOUNDATION
The Foundation is a single-purpose foundation that exists to support
the clients and programs of Stewart-Marchman Center. Our Foundation
seeks outright and deferred gifts, gifts-in-kind, and services in
order to accomplish its mission.
VISION
OF THE STEWART-MARCHMAN FOUNDATION
The
vision of Stewart-Marchman Foundation is to develop the financial,
technological and human resources necessary for Stewart-Marchman
Center to provide "beyond state-of-the-art" substance abuse-related
services. Toward that end, we will aggressively engage as partners
individual and corporate donors/investors from our community, state,
nation, and around the world. Together we will seek the ultimate
solutions to the myriad problems created by substance abuse - with
a special interest in enhancing Stewart-Marchman Center's ability
to offer effective prevention, treatment, aftercare, and diversion
services.
The Foundation's
ability to realize its vision is directly related to those individuals
who support our work through outright and deferred financial contributions.
There are numerous giving options - including charitable gift annuities
- that will benefit both Stewart-Marchman Center and the donor.
